It has been super hot so far this Summer. Yes we have had our share of rain but in between it's been nice and warm.
Everyone deserves treats you just have to choose the right ones. For me on leg day I treat myself with anything I'm craving, even if it's a donut. But these treats I can eat everybody if I want. Healthy can be easy when you have all the right foods in your home and you can plan your week.
Mango Popsicle
- 2 cups fresh mango
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 5 drops essential oil
Blend and freeze for 4 hours. Enjoy!
Peppermint Fudgesicle
- 1 can full fat coconut milk (healthy fat)
- 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 drop vanilla essential oil (or 1 tsp vanilla extract)
- 5 drops peppermint essential oil
Blend and freeze for 4 hours. If you want some extra flavour (only on leg days for me) dip them in chocolate or nuts after they are frozen. That is my favourite.
Strawberry Watermelon Popsicles
- 3 cups of watermelon
- 3/4 cup strawberries
- half a lime juiced (1 tbsp lime juice)
- 2 drops lime essential oil
Blend and freeze for 4 hours. Enjoy!
Orange Vanilla Popsicles
- 2 cups orange juice
- 2 cups full fat coconut milk
- 2 drops wild orange essential oil
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
Blend and freeze for 4 hours.
