Day 1: We are back on lockdown so I thought we could do a little spring cleaning in Winter. We have the extra time right? I was just looking at my windows and wondered the last time I wiped them down... Lets start here.
Day 2: Check your air filter and make sure that it is clean. We are home all the time now so you want to make sure you are breathing clean air. Get your diffuser going as well to help get those stale smells.
Day 3: I would have to say dusting is my least favourite cleaning task. I definitely don't like to do it often. If you don't have Arborvitae use Sandalwood. I actually prefer the scent of Sandalwood but Arborvitae is soooo good to keep your wood in good condition.
Day 4: I use this at least twice a day on my countertops. I keep a small spray bottle under my sink so when we are cleaning up from a meal I can give them a quick wipe down. I love the smell of Onguard. If you want to change it up, use Lemon, or anything citrus, or even Purify.
Day 5: My dishwasher definitely needs a good cleaning... When we are home a lot it runs a lot more. Adding Lemon helps with the grime, and water spots.
Day 6: When we first bought our stainless steel appliances I cried when I tried to wash them. There were always so many finger prints visible and cleaning them didn't do the best job unless you had a full chemical base cleaner - which I hated. Then I found Norwex and essential oils and my life was changed. Simple small spray bottle with Lemon essential oil and vinegar and I am good to go. My Onguard cleaner also works well. The most important thing is to wipe with a dry cloth after and it looks good as new.
Day 7: Ok so maybe I was wrong about dusting being the worst thing to clean. Toilets definitely are, especially when you have boys/men in the house. I'm just saying... Another great option is to use Onguard, or Purify essential oils.
Day 8: I just redid my bathrooms and I absolutely love them. So it is important that I keep them clean. My daughter and I both love having a bath so its super important to clean them regularly. This combination or Onguard is amazing. I love how this one bubbles to help with cleaning.
Day 9: Stains happen a lot in our house, maybe a little less often as the kids have grown up, but they are still present. I keep a spray bottle near the laundry and have Lemon essential oil everywhere in my house. I like having things prepared and ready... Don't you?
Day 10: Ok so this is the last day I am going to make you clean something, or at least until Spring lol. doTERRA's Serenity linen spray or doTERRA's Adaptiv linen spray is a perfect option if you don't want to make your own. We have a linen spray in every bedroom. It smells so good when you spray your sheets, pillows, curtains, and basically everything in your bedroom.
